This week we meet Yuke Lang, our Trims Librarian here at Pro-Stretch UK,
Hello there…My name is Yuke, I recently joined the Pro-stretch UK team and I am responsible for keeping all the Trims and Labels organised and filed correctly. With the many trims that pass through our office, this is a large and important role, that can take some time.
I am also working alongside Joanne (Our Head of Marketing, see Joanne’s Spotlight on’ post here) preparing various sample catalogues, these are all hand made specifically for each of our customers and brands.
A little bit more about me…..I was born and raised in Indonesia, but spent most of my teenage years in Singapore. Although I have now settled in Greater Manchester, and have lived in the UK for some time now. I love living here, but I do travel back to Asia whenever I get the chance to see my family.
As part of my previous education, I studied at Advanced Training Technique in Singapore majoring in Public Relations. More recently I studied Information Technology at Trafford College, Stretford, Manchester.
I have a 21 year old son, and I am a proud owner of ‘Princess’ – my beautiful Shitzhu dog, who keeps me busy.
One of my greatest passions is Fashion, and I love following the design trends and seeing all the wonderful clothing that is available. Some of my favourite stores are Zara and TK Maxx.
I also love going to the cinema, my favourite films are romcoms like Pretty woman.
I am quite creative, so I love sewing and knitting…and I would also like to learn to play Golf, if I ever get the chance!!😃
Interesting facts
Whenever I get the time I love travelling the world and exploring the amazing wonders it has to offer, especially trying the local foods. I often research the local dishes from the regions before I travel. As I love to cook, I try to replicate the dishes I sample from all over the world, my favourites are noodle dishes.
